The East Lansing K-12 libraries are currently emailing library reminders to all patrons in our school district. This is a once per week email confirming all materials currently checked out, and is meant to help parents identify library materials their student may have in his/her possession.
The reminder is not necessarily an overdue notice. However, if students do have overdue items, they simply return those items to their building librarian. No overdue fines will be charged, and normal check-out procedures will resume. If a student has lost an item from their library, replacement costs will be listed on the library notice, and payment can be made directly to the building librarian.
